One Thousand Women, A Million Possibilities
Reception before at 7PM
Come see The Passion of Mary on September 7, 2012 and
20% of your ticket will be donated to the One Thousand Women, A Million
Possibilities campaign. This is an incredible movement started by a group
of passionate women who saw an urgent need in the student population at
Norquest College. They heard stories of struggling students who have made the
difficult choice to change their lives through education. These are new
Canadian, aboriginal, multi-generational Canadians, many who are trying to get
out of the social systems they were born into or landed in.
This evening will begin at 7:00 PM with a reception and
refreshments hosted by Gail Stepanik-Keber, who is one of the original
committee members of the One Thousand Women, A Million Possibilities campaign.
It will be followed with a performance of The Passion of Mary at 8:00 PM.
